What is AIESEC?
AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organization. Active at over 1700 universities across more than 107 countries and territories, our international platform enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential in order to have a positive impact in society.
In partnership with business and higher education, AIESEC has over 60 years of experience in developing high-potential students into globally minded responsible leaders.

AIESEC in Austria
AIESEC in Austria was founded in Vienna in 1952.
Austria is the one of two AIESEC countries that belongs to two different AIESEC regional networks. Being at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe gives AIESEC in Austria a unique position which was for example used to found AIESEC in Bucharest in 1990.
There are currently five local committees situated in Austria (Graz, Innsbruck, Linz, Salzburg and Vienna), managed by the national committee (Member Committee) which has its office in Vienna and consists of six persons.
